Thanks, I lol'd.

And what of Eris? Ceres? Makemake? Sedna? The other thousands of objects orbiting the sun within the Asteroid belt and Kuiper belt? Does roundness make a planet? What of our own Moon? What of the Sun? Who needs a strict scientific definition, anyway, scientists are all a bunch of morons, after all.

Did you know that after the public outcry, Pluto has been re-instated as a planet? At least, I think that's what's happened.

The International Astronomical Union has not changed its definition of a planet simply because the public is sentimentally attached to a poor hunk of space rock.

Still, it was after the outcry. That's all I was trying to say, not that it was causative.

I'm confused. Pluto still isn't a 'planet'. o_o Check wiki.

Hmm, I guess my info is wrong. My bad. (although wiki isn't exactly the most reliable of sources. I could edit that page to say that it IS a planet really easily, and visa-versa.)
